Marty is a CPA experienced with a wide range of individual 1040 and corporate/LLC taxation in fields such as manufacturing, real estate, construction, trust taxation and professional services to name just a few. Financial accounting is also a specialty along with expertise with the very popular Quickbooks systems. Marty enjoys consulting with new business start-ups.

As a partner at Hartwig, Norman & Shannon LLP, he is responsible for key strategic management and decision-making activities for the firm. During his successful tenure with HNS, Marty has developed and implemented various programs to promote the growth and its team members. He directs the firm’s initiatives for professional development, technology innovation and high-quality client service. As a result of Marty’s influence, HNS continues to exceed clients’ expectations and attract new business opportunities.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting (UW-Oshkosh), MBA (Marquette), a decade working for a Big-4 accounting firm and corporate finance, and many years with HNS have provided a solid background to lend expertise to clients’ tax and accounting solutions.

Marty and his wife reside in Muskego and keep active with Becky’s boutique (Freebird in Muskego- stop in!) children and grandchildren, the family doodle gang, biking, golf, and friends!

June Norman is a CPA specializing in tax and accounting services for small businesses, their owners, individuals, and families. As a partner at Hartwig, Norman & Shannon, LLP, she provides tax consulting and compliance services to the firm’s clients. With an Accounting degree from UW-Eau Claire, Masters in Taxation from UW-Milwaukee and ten years’ experience in international accounting firms prior to many years in the solo/small practice arena she has an excellent background to handle high level tax issues for business owners and their owners. June also provides individuals with personal accounting services.

In addition to her CPA practice, June previously served as an adjunct faculty member at UW-Milwaukee where she taught Tax I and Tax II to Accounting students for twenty years. Before each tax season begins she also teaches annual tax updates seminars for the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs, where she also leads a monthly Small Practitioners’ Roundtable.

She and her husband have three grown children currently launching into careers around the country. The family gathers frequently to run, backpack and adventure together.

As the Partner of Hartwig, Norman & Shannon LLP, Julie is responsible for the planning and management aspects of the firm’s engagements. In her role, she provides her clients with tax solutions that integrate both personal and business financial strategies, ultimately increasing their opportunity for personal financial growth.

With over 20 plus years of accounting and tax experience including starting her own accounting consulting firm, she provides businesses and individuals with accounting, tax and advisory services.

Julie helps clients establish internal financial reporting procedures and provides year-end financial reporting services. She reviews and recommends software that ensures management is provided with timely and accurate financial reports to run a profitable business.

Julie believes in proactive tax planning. Throughout the year she keeps business and individual clients informed about tax law changes, opportunities and potential tax liabilities. She assists clients with corporate and individual income tax compliance and advises on sales and payroll tax strategies.

Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA emphasis from Carrol University. She is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA).

Julie and her husband enjoy the time with their four grown children and grandchildren and keep busy working out and trying to stay fit. They manage their rental properties and also like to travel as much as possible.

Jada Carerros, staff accountant with an associate’s degree in accounting from MATC, is the firm’s “go to” for small business QBO (QuickBooks Online) accounting. Clients appreciate Jada’s timely and accurate financials reporting, payroll service and other business insights. Jada is currently attending Lakeland University, working towards her Bachelor’s degree in accounting. After work she also enjoys volunteering in her community, assisting the local high school marching band and in her martial arts school.
